BKN301 aimed to expand its product offering for business customers. Until then, our merchant portal only supported acquiring services, missing the opportunity to serve broader financial needs.
We saw the chance to unify all BKN301 business services—accounts, employee cards, acquiring—into a single platform. This not only improved user experience but also enabled powerful cross-sell and white-label opportunities for partner banks.
As Lead Product Manager, I defined the product vision and led a cross-functional team of up to 15 people including product managers, developers, and designers. I was responsible for ensuring we delivered a platform with real business impact—positioning 301pay as a key revenue driver for BKN301.
Continuous product discovery allowed us to stay close to user needs while running regular co-design and alignment sessions with internal stakeholders to identify high-impact, scalable initiatives that needed prioritization. Every feature was grounded in deep technical analysis, leveraging BKN301’s BaaS infrastructure for fast, reliable implementation. We measured success through user adoption and continuously improved internal operations by releasing dedicated tooling with each iteration.
To strengthen 301pay’s acquiring proposition, we developed a set of features designed to boost merchant conversion, simplify payment operations, and scale integrations. Each feature was built with usability, flexibility, and performance in mind.
As part of 301pay’s evolution into a full business banking hub, we introduced essential banking capabilities from the ground up—designed for simplicity, control, and daily usability.
To support the complexity of business needs, we developed critical platform-level features from scratch—focused on access control, security, and data visibility.
We built 301admin to support 301pay with the same care given to customer-facing features. Designed for BKN301’s operations teams, it simplified complex workflows into one intuitive tool. Born from continuous discovery, it brought customer-grade UX to internal processes, unlocking real operational efficiency.
A note on Design
The main challenge: grow functionality without adding friction. We ran co-design workshops, built quick prototypes, and tested extensively to keep things intuitive while scaling complexity.
Design activities were supported by a deep technical understanding of data models and APIs implementation flows, ensuring feasability and efficiency of the proposals.
Our work on 301pay went beyond features—it shaped how we build products at BKN301. We defined a scalable product development method, fostered a cohesive and cross-functional team culture, and positioned 301pay as a strategic pillar for the company’s growth. Today, it stands as the central platform for business clients and a key revenue driver in BKN301’s ecosystem.
